National Machinery Exchange, Inc.
Purchases Shiloh Industries Mansfield, Ohio Facility

National Machinery Exchange has concluded the purchase of Shiloh Industries’ Mansfield, Ohio facility. National Machinery Exchange, founded in 1934, is the nation’s premier company for secondhand metalworking equipment and machinery with headquarters in Newark, New Jersey. Shiloh is a leading independent manufacturer of advanced metal product solutions for high volume applications in the North American automotive, heavy truck, trailer, and consumer markets with nine facilities in the US and Mexico.

Shiloh closed the 300,000 square foot Mansfield facility in November 2011 and moved the majority of the production capacity to Shiloh’s new facility in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The Mansfield facility has bridge crane lifting capacity of up to 60 tons and includes approximately 15 acres of usable outside acreage. "We have worked with Shiloh on numerous projects over the past few years as their surplus equipment agent and have a very good relationship with them. This is the first property we are purchasing from Shiloh and it is a good fit for both parties as they had closed the facility and we were in the market for premier industrial warehouse space in the Midwest," said Larry Epstein, President, of National Machinery Exchange.

"We're very excited about this property as this building is heated, has long bays and large tonnage bridge cranes with high lifting clearances which are ideal for our type of equipment. Primarily, we are going to use the facility as our main industrial warehouse for high quality secondhand equipment. This industrial warehouse facility will be one of the preeminent industrial storage facilities in North America and will allow us to serve of own needs and our institutional corporate clients. When they need to store equipment, we'll have the building to store it and utilize our global efforts to sell the equipment on their behalf," concluded Mr. Epstein.
